I'd say play them in the order they were released: The Precursor Legacy Jak II Jak 3 Jak X The Lost Frontier. I think Daxter was released between Jak 3 and Jak X, and I think it is best played there or later, even though it takes place before Jak II, as it contains some major Jak II plot spoilers.
