Theyare both good pickups although Origins can be found as a complete edition cheaper. I actually prefer Odyssey though which brings me to the real point. Egypt - Origins. Odyssey - Greece. Valhalla - England. Choose you preferred setting and time period. I loved the Greek Isles in Odyssey. AC Valhalla: made to be a better RPG game and to be more assassin's inside the franchise.
Bothare great but prefer Odyssey mostly because of the gear system and the Kassandra is still probably my top 3 AC character of all time and Ancient Greece is unmatched like you said the world is colorful, Valhalla ( IMO ) has better
Igotta say, I just think Origins looks better. I loaded Origins back up, went to a few spots all over the map and came away feeling that it has the edge graphically over Odyssey. I'm about 30 hours into Odyssey now and spent 90 hours on Origins, and immediately when I started Odyssey I felt it didn't look as good as I remembered
FromAC games, most RPGish is AC Valhalla, which I am playing right now and it is probably my favourite game in the franchise. I am playing it via uplay plus which costs 15 euros a month. Odyssey is more RPG than Origins, it has some choices and interactive dialogue. Horizon isnice, but I was not all that thrilled with it. Very superficial game.
