First lift headrest up in the middle of the fabric between the post u will see a small fold. Unfold. It's just plastic clipped together. Lift up fabric, u see 2 silver tabs. Push those in and head rest comes off the posts. Next flip seat down. Careful u don't poke holes in front seat. Find the zipper on the side.
This can be done with the seat still in the vehicle. Removal of the panel is similar: pull the panel out at the bottom starting with clips 9 and then 10 (takes a good quick pull), then, place the palms of your hands slightly inside of where the #6's are, push in and then downward in one motion. The panel should fall into your hands.1. remove seats from jeep and unplug the wires. also, remove the seat belt bolt near the door. 2. remove all plastic cladding from both sides on the seat base. all of this is done with a phillips head screwdriver. 3. now remove the seat back buy removing the two bolts on each side and the 24mm seat belt bolt.
Removing the seat fabric from the seats. Just got this Jeep from a drug forfeiture and were trying to clean it REALLY well!! Anyway, I tried to remove the seat covers from the frame and I have hit a snag. On the seat cushion part, it appears there is some kind of hog ring (?) holding the cover to a metal rod that runs through the cushion.Copy. For the seat bottom, at each side, grip it near where your hands would be if you sat in the seat and put your hands between your knees. Jerk it very hard once in an up/forward direction
