And if he cant unlock them and I have to drop them, how does he modify them? He has to go unlock them in his game, or be the host at some point. Only the host can make story progress and unlock weapons/skills. Does he have to play the whole thing just to unlock the guns? He can keep the money and skill points he's picked up from prepper stashes

Farcry 5 has better multiplayer and Coop. You get to customize your own character, theres arcade where you can fight other players, create your own maps, play maps created by other people, and theres 3 dlcs which also supports coop. Much more to do honestly, I found this one more enjoyable for multiplayer. Farcry 4 multiplayer is dead but coop
