As you can see from our test results, Fedora KDE has a newer version of Plasma, despite both systems being totally up to date. KDE/Plasma Desktop Performance Assessment. My two cents: I choose KDE on purpose specifically because of the shiny bling and fancy desktop effects that my 1 yr old hardware can easily handle. The top bar on every application, the bottom bar on the desktop, and a few apps such as Manjaro Hello and pamac are dark now. But Dolphin, Settings and most other apps are still light.
